The attached motion to adopt the FY 2024 Final Combined Funds Budget reflects all School Board and Superintendent recommended budget adjustments since the FY 2024 Combined Funds Budget adoption on February 16, 2023.
The FY 2024 Final Combined Funds Budget includes the following:
• Total budgeted revenues and other financing sources of: $361,864,082
• The City Appropriation to schools for FY 2024 totals: $258,686,800
• Total budgeted expenditures of: $361,864,082
o Operating Fund: $329,446,411 including Use of Funds of $8,722,578
o Grants & Special Projects Fund: $17,850,779
o School Nutrition Services Fund: $12,600,871
• A planned use of fund balance: $8,722,578
• FTEs for FY 2024 total: 2,674.45
o Operating Fund: 2,442.00
o Grants & Special Projects Fund: 111.45
o School Nutrition Services Fund: 121.00

The adoption of the Combined-Funds Budget is an annual commitment to programs and activities for Alexandria City Public Schools.
