Agenda Item Summary:
|
The 2018-2023 ACPS Technology Plan was developed to improve and innovate teaching and learning in the Division. However, no one could anticipate the disruption of traditional education due to the COVID pandemic. During that time the three major goals of the ACPS Technology Plan remained priorities and new practices emerged in order to respond to the needs of students, staff and families. As a result, some actions of the plan were accelerated and/or delayed and new actions were developed based on needs.
The Tech Plan Update document summarizes the 2018-2023 ACPS Technology Plan, provides a goal status and highlights work and projects that demonstrate evidence of implemented strategies and actions over the last 5 years.

Background:

The 2018-2023 Technology Plan was developed by staff, students, parents and community members during the spring of 2018. A new technology plan will be developed this spring for 2023-2028 and will be presented to the Board in the spring.
