This brief updates the School Board regarding the revised process for accepting virtual students during Quarter 2.
|

Background:
|
For the 2021-2022 school year, ACPS implemented a return to five days of in-person learning along with a virtual option for families making this selection prior to May 24, 2021. In tandem, school leadership teams have assessed the need for additional
virtual options through unsolicited parental requests. Utilizing a prioritization matrix, a process and timeline have been developed to phase in identified students for virtual instruction during Quarter 2.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the process and timeline for phasing in additional virtual students utilizing Edgenuity.
