Agenda Item Summary:

This is a draft presentation for the School Board and City Council Joint Work Session regarding ACPS’s FY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) on October 27, 2021.

Background:

Following the Ad-Hoc Joint City-Schools Facilities Investment Task Force’s recommendation that the City Council de-couple their budget processes, this is the third year that the joint CIP work session between City Council and the School Board will take place in the fall so that both bodies may focus on the operating budget in the spring.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the attached presentation and send any recommended changes or comments to staff for inclusion in the final presentation.
