Agenda Item Summary: The Superintendent is evaluated annually and the evaluation process includes a goal setting conference to be completed in the fall of each school year. The outcome of the goal-setting conference is mutually agreed upon goals and what evidence of goal attainment is acceptable to the Board and Superintendent.
Background: The Superintendent Evaluation Criteria Development Advisory Committee met on November 16, 2021 to develop a work plan for evaluating and updating the Superintendent Evaluation Criteria document. The School Board reviewed the revised evaluation document at the Special Called School Board Meeting held on November 16, 2021. The Board Committee further reviewed the evaluation document on December 6, 2021 to review recommendations.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends the School Board approve the revised Superintendent Evaluation Criteria metrics for use during the 2021-2022 school year.
