This brief will clarify the possible activities and logistics for the upcoming professional learning day on October 9, 2023. The focus of this day is tier I instruction focused on the area of engagement. All instructional staff will participate in professional learning during the hours of 9:00 am - 3:30 pm for two, half-day or one whole-day sessions. Schools should not hold other meetings or events on
this day.

As the school division centers the instructional core of teachers, students, and content, the professional learning days will support high-quality, highly engaging tier-1 instruction.
