The attached motion to adopt the FY 2023 Final Combined Funds Budget reflects all School Board and Superintendent recommended budget adjustments since the FY 2023 Combined Funds Budget adoption on February 10, 2022.
The FY 2023 Final Combined Funds Budget includes the following:
• Total budgeted revenues and other financing sources of: $351,474,887
• The City Appropriation to schools for FY 2023 totals: $248,737,300
• Total budgeted expenditures of: $351,474,887
o Operating Fund: $321,826,737 including Use of Funds of $5,637,400
o Grants & Special Projects Fund: $17,610,664
o School Nutrition Services Fund: $12,037,486
• A planned use of fund balance: $9,319,437
• FTEs for FY 2023 total: 2,661.15
o Operating Fund: 2,438.50
o Grants & Special Projects Fund: 101.65
o School Nutrition Services Fund: 121.00

The adoption of the Combined-Funds Budget is an annual commitment to programs and activities for Alexandria City Public Schools.
