In October of 2022, representatives from The Motley Fool reached out to ACPS through the donation application process, to donate new office equipment. In addition to completing the online donation form, The Motley Fool also reached out to the leadership of Alexandria City High School to discuss approval and delivery of the items. The value of this equipment is approximately $4,000.

In accordance with ACPS Policy KH and Regulation KH-R, any donation over $2,500 requires School Board approval. The donation must meet the established standards of acceptance requirements
|

Recommendation:

The Interim Superintendent recommends the School Board approve the donation as it meets all standards of acceptance requirements.
