This memo provides an update of Community Use of Facilities for May 2024 for both indoor and outdoor use. In May 2024, indoor use of our facilities included: girl scout meetings, bible study, church services, basketball tournaments, a school talent show, PTA meetings, a school dance, a community meeting, a City Council debate, International Heritage Night, a concert, a Democratic Convention, the Barrett Carnival, a bike rodeo, and a volunteering event. Outdoor use of our facilities included: a Fun Run, soccer games, and a movie night
$5,865.00 was collected for use of schools in May 2024.

Background:
|
School Board Policy KG, Community Use of Facilities, requires the preparation and issuance of a monthly community use of facilities report. Monthly reports will provide an overview of both ACPS-related and non-ACPS related facilities use.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the school board approve the Monthly Facilities Use Report for May 2024.
