Funding in the amount of $70,520 was required to be transferred from the CIP reserve to complete support needed of the urgent Mount Vernon (MV) Roof Replacement Project in April 2019. Due to the immediate nature of the action, this request is now being brought to the Board. This approval will bring the CIP Reserve balance to $682,609.32 as referenced in the CIP Reserve Account report memo. |

Background:

|
On December 7, 2017, the School Board authorized the establishment of a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Reserve Account which provides an additional option for CIP budget transfers. This reserve account allows the School Board to move budgeted funds between capital accounts through a two-step process. |

Recommendation

|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board approve the budget transfer request totaling $70,520 from the CIP Reserve Account to the MV Roof Replacement Project. |
