ACPS wants to pursue the procurement of outsourced custodial services. |

Background:
|
|
ACPS has been charged with pursuing various options for the outsourcing of custodial services. ACPS explored options which varied from a complete outsourcing of the current full time ACPS custodial staff with less than twenty (20) years of experience to the outsourcing of ten (10) ACPS custodial staff with less than five (5) years of experience. The option to pursue the latter has been included in the budget recommendation to the Board. SSC has been selected pending board approval of the FY2020 combined budget, as they are currently on contract and meet the requirements related to our commitment to ensure no less than the Living Wage is paid to any employee, 100% transition of the ACPS employees to schools within the Division, and the provision of health insurance and employment benefits. |
