This memo provides an update of Community Use of Facilities for May 2022. To provide context, non-essential use of all ACPS facilities was reinstated as of March 16, 2022. In May 2022, indoor use of our facilities included team pictures for RPCA, a church service, a bible study session, a PTA Community meeting, a meeting for the Alexandria Democratic Committee, a school fun fair, a Spring Fling, a talent show/practice, a science demonstration, a basketball camp, a fun run, a Girl Scouts meeting, and a PTA Executive Board meeting. Outdoor use of our facilities included a car wash fundraiser, a track and field meet, a book giveaway, and Spring Festival.
$3,090.00 was collected for use of schools in May 2022. |

School Board Policy KG, Community Use of Facilities, requires the preparation and issuance of a monthly community use of facilities report. Monthly reports will provide an overview of both ACPS-related and non-ACPS related facilities use. |

Recommendation

The superintendent recommends that the school board approve the Monthly Facilities Use Report for May 2022. |
