As part of the Board’s continuing, five-year policy review cycle, thirteen policies and regulations from the classifications below are proposed for creation and/or revision:

I Policies: Instructional Program
K Policies: School-Community Relations
L Policies: Education Agency Relations
The proposed revisions reflect statutory changes in effect for the 2021-22 school year, current ACPS practice, or new ACPS programs.

Background:

The Code of Virginia § 22.1-253.13:7 and Policy BF require the School Board to maintain and follow up-to-date policies, and that all policies shall be reviewed at least every five years and revised as needed.

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends the School Board review the proposed policy and regulatory revisions.
