Agenda Item Summary: Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is celebrating teachers who have newly achieved National Board Certification (NBCT) status or maintained it this year. NBCT is the most respected professional certification in education, designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers. Five ACPS teachers have been newly certified with three others maintaining their certification.
