The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) staff liaison requests that the School Board grant a waiver to extend the term limit for Committee Chair Nancy Drane so that she may serve an additional year as committee chair for the 2022-2023 SY. Ms. Drane has currently served two consecutive years as the committee chair, and the committee does not have a member willing or able to step into the leadership role for the upcoming year.

Board policy BCF states that "Committee Chairs may only serve two consecutive, one-year terms and may be nominated for the Chair position again after two years of not having served in that role."

Recommendation:

The Interim Superintendent recommends that the School Board grant a waiver for Nancy Drane to serve as committee chair for the Budget Advisory Committee for the 2022-2023 SY.
