The Virginia Department of Education released division and school enrollment numbers on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The official student enrollment report for the 2023-24 school year will be presented to the
Alexandria City School Board at its November 30, 2023 Board meeting. The data released highlights that the overall student enrollment for Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) has increased by approximately 300 students this year compared with last year. ACPS currently serves 16071 students. Our current enrollment exceeds pre-pandemic enrollment and is the largest enrollment ACPS has had since 1971.
