This presentation provides an update on COVID-19 health and safety measures including, but not limited to, current level of community spread, Virginia Department of Health updated FAQ data on programs of Test to Stay and ViSSTA (https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid-19-faq/#testtostay), staff vaccination data and safety reminders.

Background:
|
The City of Alexandria remains at a high level of community transmission. As ACPS is committed to five-days a week of in-person learning, health and safety measures continue to be implemented to ensure the health and safety of all staff and students.

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the updates to the COVID-19 health and safety measures.
