|
This memo provides an update of Community Use of Facilities for December 2021. To provide context, non-essential use of all ACPS facilities was suspended as of March 13, 2020 (due to school closure in light of Covid-19). In December 2021, indoor use of our facilities included a toy distribution, RPCA Winter Camps, Campagna Winter Camp an ACHS and Alexandria Soccer Association joint event, and POD activities for AHD, William Ramsay, and Cora Kelly. Outdoor use of our facilities included social community events.
No funding was collected for use of schools in December 2021.

Background:

School Board Policy KG, Community Use of Facilities, requires the preparation and issuance of a monthly community use of facilities report. Monthly reports will provide an overview of both ACPS-related and non-ACPS related facilities use.

Recommendation:
|
The superintendent recommends that the school board approve the Monthly Facilities Use Report for December 2021.
