Agenda Item Summary:

The proposed 2021-2022 School Board Meeting Calendar has been developed to align with the academic calendar, key budget dates and other School Board obligations.

Background:

The School Board meets twice per month for regular School Board Meetings and holds an Organizational School Board Meeting in early January in order to elect the Board Chair and Vice Chair. This draft calendar of meetings aligns with the academic calendar and key budget dates, which accounts for some variances in the twice monthly schedule. The calendar also takes religious holidays into account during which work may be restricted.

This meeting schedule is presented for information and review. It is scheduled for adoption at the Organizational Meeting on January 4, 2022.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the proposed 2022-2023 School Board Meeting Calendar for 2022-2023.
