Agenda Item Summary: This is a returning item from the February 2, 2023 School Board Meeting where this item was tabled.
Background: On Thursday, January 19, 2023, the final School Law Enforcement Partnership (SLEP) advisory group recommendations were shared with the School Board. Select staff, along with the Interim Superintendent, have reviewed the recommendations and added staff notes for the School Board’s review and consideration.
Recommendation: I move that the Board accepts the SLEP Advisory Group recommendations with the included staff response. I further move that the Board engage with City Council to discuss implementation of these recommendations as accepted by the Board.
