Agenda Item Summary:
|
ACPS has identified the need to provide Site Improvements for 267 rooms between George Washington Middle School and Francis C. Hammond Middle School. The improvements include removal and disposal or reinstallation of existing Smart Boards, no more than thirty (30), to other school locations. SMART MX Series Smart Boards 275 V3N 75”4K UHD with IQ and Learning Suite, SMART SMAFSE 410 Electric Floor Stand (or similar) are to be furnished and installed for interactive displays and AVerVision F17+ USB-HDMI document camera (or similar).

Background:
|
ACPS engaged in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to solicit, evaluate, and award a contract for the Smartboards project. Four (4) proposals were received in response to this RFP. ACPS is able to substantiate the selected vendor's past performance and ability to complete projects as defined in ACPS’ solicitation, from prior work experience. Therefore, the vendor selected is deemed to be technically acceptable to complete the Work.

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the information on Smartboards and approve the contract for award.
