This memo provides an update of Community Use of Facilities for September 2022. In September 2022, indoor use of our facilities included: string ensemble rehearsal, an EDLE Graduate cohort class, a sorority meeting, a Girl Scout troop meeting, a meeting for the Alexandria Democratic Committee, music lessons, a Parent Information meeting, a board meeting, a School Festival for Fall, a Church Anniversary, 2 Girl Scouts meetings, a Boy Scouts meeting, and 3 PTA meetings. Outdoor use of our facilities included: a teen block party, a meet and greet, a birthday celebration, a track and field meet, soccer and lacrosse games, a 5k race, and a NOVA Parks event.
$9,010.00 was collected for use of schools in September 2022.

Background:

School Board Policy KG, Community Use of Facilities, requires the preparation and issuance of a monthly community use of facilities report. Monthly reports will provide an overview of both ACPS-related and non-ACPS related facilities use.

Recommendation:

The Interim Superintendent recommends that the School Board the September 2022 Community Use of Facilities monthly report.
