This board brief provides an update on the progress made at George Washington Middle School in regards to the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessment completed in February and June 2020.
|
Background:
|
On June 25, 2020, the vendor returned to complete IAQ assessments in areas that were inaccessible during the initial assessment visit. This subsequent visit led to 14 additional items to be addressed. Out of these tasks, all items have been mitigated. The specific tasks and actions take are included in Attachment A. Next steps include completing a follow-up IAQ assessment in select areas within the school to determine the efficacy of the mitigation efforts. Once the follow-up assessment is completed, results will be shared with stakeholders.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the George Washington Middle School Indoor Air Quality Remediation Update.
