Background:
|
The School Board Vice Chair serves for one calendar year, and may be re-elected. Members of the School Board may cast only one vote for their choice for Vice Chair, unless a second round of voting is needed to determine a winner due to a tie, or withdrawal of a nominee from consideration. The Vice Chair is determined by a majority of the votes. Board Members may abstain if they are not in support of a candidate.
