This presentation provides an update on COVID-19 health and safety measures including, but not limited to, current positive case data, recent vaccination data, weekly testing and safety reminders.

Background:
|
The COVID-19 case data for the City of Alexandria has been increasing, and the city is experiencing a high level of community transmission. As ACPS returns to five-days a week of in-person learning, additional public health safety measures must be taken to ensure the health and safety of all staff and students.
|

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the updates to the COVID-19 health and safety measures.
