In May 2022, Alexandria City Public Schools received a financial donation of $5,000 from Alexandria community member, Ms. Danielle Hagerty to support a career and vocational training space for students with significant disabilities who are in our citywide programs at Alexandria City High School. The Office of Specialized Instruction is planning to officially allocate this donation to support identified needs after the official approval from the Alexandria City School Board.
In accordance with ACPS Policy KH and Regulation KH-R, any donation over $2,500 requires School Board approval. The donation must meet the established standards of acceptance requirements. |
