In March 2021, the Ad Hoc School Board Advisory Support Committee (“Ad Hoc Committee”) was formed to evaluate and strengthen the relationship between the School Board and its advisory committees. The Ad Hoc Committee reviewed past and current membership rosters, as well as School Board policies governing advisory committees. Through an online survey and in-person discussions at School Board meetings, the Ad Hoc Committee solicited feedback from advisory committee members to better serve students, staff, parents and the community. |

The School Board appoints parents, community members, students and staff who bring a unique perspective on specific topics to its advisory committees. The committees meet throughout the school year and each provides a Scope of Work and Annual Report. |

The Ad Hoc School Board Advisory Support Committee recommends that the School Board accept the report and recommendations. |
