The Superintendent recommends that the School Board convene a closed meeting on July 11, 2024.
Madam Chair, I move that the Board convene a Closed Meeting pursuant to Code of Virginia Section 2.2-3711(A)(8) to consult with legal counsel employed by Alexandria City Public Schools regarding specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel for matters relating to compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act;
I move that the Board convene a Closed Meeting pursuant to Code of Virginia Section 2.2-3711(A)(6) and 2.2-3711(A)(29) to discuss the investment of public funds and the award of a public contract related to Douglas MacArthur Elementary School and the Minnie Howard Campus;
and finally, I move that the Board convene a Closed Meeting pursuant to Code of Virginia Section 2.2-3711(A)(1) to discuss the performance of specific public employees; and further move to dispense with the attendance of the Superintendent from a portion of this meeting in accordance with Code of Virginia Section 22.1-69. |
