This presentation provides an update on COVID-19 mitigating strategies. This presentation includes COVID-19 data including community level and transmission, current masking guidance, updated CDC metrics and other areas. |

Background:
|
|
The City of Alexandria remains at a substantial level of community transmission and low level based on the CDC’s new COVID-19 Community Level metrics. As ACPS is committed to five-days a week of in-person learning, health and safety measures continue to be implemented to ensure the health and safety of all staff and students. |

Recommendation

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the COVID-19 update. |
